2 sump pumps, 1 battery backup and a guy with a bucket

After my husband and neighbor fixed our front sump pump to working condition and determined the problem with the battery back up. We felt that we were all set. Boy were we wrong! The water from the ground below started to quickly fill up our crawlspace. The back sump pump could not keep up with the rising water. We looked at the water and knew at that moment the only thing left to do was pray. We knelt down and asked our Heavenly Father for help. (I should give a little history that we have had water in the basement three times now in the last six months. One being just a week ago, so we were out of ideas as to any more fixing.) We felt that we needed to bail out what water we could. I am not sure exactly how long it was, but it was long enough that my arms are exhausted and my quads are trembling. So needless to say, we had both sump pumps running AND the battery back up running and we STILL had to bail water. We know that the back sump pump needs to be replaced with a faster pump and eventually the front one as well. We will be taking care of this ASAP!
